Profile:
He is associate Professor and Internationalization Leader for the Management Department and Management School at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has +8 years in teaching and +18 years of experience as manager and director in different economic sectors such as foods and beverages, construction, pharmaceutical, electric energy, sports, and information technology. He is PhD Candidate in the Strategic Management program of Consorcio de Universidades in Lima; he has doctoral studies at Copenhagen Business School, and a MBA of Centrum Católica. His research is oriented to Power and Influence in Organizations, and Sustainable Supply Chain Management. He was visiting professor at Inseec Business School in París, Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago de Chile, ESADE University in Barcelona, and UDEM in Monterrey. He received four research funds, a teaching innovation award, and a scholarship for teaching of the EFMD. He is Chair for Global and Regional Supply Chains track in the Academy of International Business (AIB) for the Latin America and the Caribbean Chapter, and an executive board member of the AIB Global Teaching & Education SIG.
Summary:
We will discuss about how COVID-19 crisis has disrupted global supply chains and how suppliers, manufacturers and customers would need to embrace and build-on these severe disruptions to deal with sustainability issues in order to achieve 2030 SDGs.

Sharif's research interests are at the intersection of international business, strategy and economic geography specializing in location choice strategy, reshoring of businesses, effects of locational factors on performance and global city effect in international business.

Dr. Teoh Kok Ban (Derick), Ph.D is a lecturer from School of Education and General Studies, SENTRAL College Penang. He obtained his first degree in Applied Statistics, Master's degree in Statistics and Ph.D in Organizational Behavior and Development from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He has 11 years of teaching experience in higher learning institutions. Throughout his career so far, he used to teach courses such as Mathematics, Statistics and Business Research Methods. His areas of interests are in statistics and organizational behavior. In addition, his current program of research focuses on psychosocial safety climate and well-being.
