Overview of 2019 MANADO ICPM
International Conference of Project Management is a prestigious event organized with a motivation to provide an excellent international platform for the academicians, researchers, industrial participants and budding students around the world to SHARE their research findings with the international business experts. 2019 MANADO ICPM is supported by AIBPM, StarScholar and local universities in Manado and Indonesia. Many participants from different countries will come to beautiful manado to share their ideas and experience in person with their peers expected to join from different parts on the world. In addition this gathering will help the delegates to establish research or business relations as well as to find international linkage for future collaborations in their career path. We hope that 2019 ICPM outcome will lead to significant contributions to the knowledge base in these up-to-date business & Management fields in scope.

Keynote Speakers:
Dr Eve Chan is a scholar from the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi). Eve was awarded Bachelor and PhD degrees in Fashion and Textiles Marketing and Merchandising from the Institute of Textiles and Clothing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPolyU) in 2004 and 2009 respectively. Prior to joining THEi, she was Research Fellow at the Hong Kong Community College of the HKPolyU, and Visiting Lecturer of the Hong Kong Design Institute. In terms of her professional experience, Eve had served as Global Business Controller and Manager of the internationally renowned fashion company, H&M. Eve has extensive work experience in buying, merchandising, marketing and retailing before initiating her academic career. She is managing several competitive research funded research projects in international trade in textiles and clothing, location analysis in Belt & Road as well as econometric modelling. Her publications include book chapters, papers in major peer-reviewed journals and international academic conferences.
Majdi Anwar Quttainah earned his Ph.D. degree in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Lally School of Management & Technology (USA). He earned his MBA degree with merits from the Business School & Entrepreneurship at Newcastle University (UK), and his Bachelor degree in International Business from the American International University in London (UK). Dr. Quttainah is an associate professor of management in the College of Business Administration at Kuwait University and works on consultation and training projects as a freelancer. His research and teaching interests are corporate governance; the three levels of strategies, specifically corporate strategy, international management, and business, entrepreneurship & small business, and organizational change & development. In addition, as a recognition to research he was awarded the Best Young Researcher academic year 2016/2017 Kuwait University. Moreover, his research was awarded the Best Paper Award at the 76th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management Anaheim, CA, 2016, the Best Paper Award at the AGBA's 12th Annual World Congress, Kuantan City (State of Pahang), Malaysia, 2015, and the best Paper Award of the Gorontalo International Conference of Project Management (ICPM) 2018 – Gorontalo/Indonesida. He and his co-author received the best paper award for the Kuwait Economic Researcher Award by the Central Bank of Kuwait; May, 2019.
Dr Ranjith P V is having over 18 years of experience in academics. He is a PhD in Service Quality with interests of Operations Management, Quality Management, Quantitative techniques, analysis of projects etc. He has published papers in different facets of management in reputed journals. He has attended different workshops conducted by Academy Of International Business and is in the review committee of AIBPM. He has worked in reputed colleges in Mumbai, India and now currently working as Associate Professor at CMS Business School, JAIN deemed to be university, Bangalore, India . He is well versed with SPSS and marketing engineering tools. The endeavor to learn new things and share that knowledge among the stakeholders like Students, Faculty members and Corporate community has helped him immensely in his professional life

ABOUT MANADO
Manado is the capital city of North Sulawesi province, and become an interesting city to be visit for its tourism destination, while the location itself is located at the Bay of Manado, and is surrounded by a mountainous area. As the largest city in northern Sulawesi, Manado is an important tourist spot for visitors. The ecotourism become the biggest attraction in Manado. Scuba diving and snorkeling at Bunaken Island is also popular amongst tourists. Another interesting place is Lake Tondano, Mount Lokon, Klabat Mountain and Mount Mahawu. Besides having some interesting tourism objects, one more benefits of Manado is near to the strategic location in hinterland objects, especially in Minahasa, which can be reached within 1 to 3 hours from the city of Manado. The destination include of Volcano area in Tomohon, Rurukan Agro-tourism village, Tondano Mountains and Waruga in Sawangan.
The Sam Ratulangi International Airport of Manado is able to receive wide-bodied aircrafts. SilkAir was the first international airline that flew Singapore-Manado directly. The airline now serves Singapore- Manado four times weekly.
Domestically, there are daily flights to Manado from Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali, Makassar, Papua and Balikpapan. Airlines flying to Manado include Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Batavia Air, Mandala and Merpati Airlines.
