Profile Keynote speakers
Prof. Majdi Anwar Quttainah, Ph.D
Majdi Anwar Quttainah earned his Ph.D. degree in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Lally School of Management & Technology (USA). He earned his MBA degree with merits from the Business School & Entrepreneurship at Newcastle University (UK), and his Bachelor degree in International Business from the American International University in London (UK). Dr. Quttainah is an associate professor of management in the College of Business Administration at Kuwait University and works on consultation and training projects as a freelancer. His research and teaching interests are corporate governance; the three levels of strategies, specifically corporate strategy, international management, and business, entrepreneurship & small business, and organizational change & development. In addition, as a recognition to research he was awarded the Best Young Researcher academic year 2016/2017 Kuwait University. Moreover, his research was awarded the Best Paper Award at the 76th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management Anaheim, CA, 2016, the Best Paper Award at the AGBA's 12th Annual World Congress, Kuantan City (State of Pahang), Malaysia, 2015, and the best Paper Award of the Gorontalo International Conference of Project Management (ICPM) 2018 – Gorontalo/Indonesida. He and his co-author received the best paper award for the Kuwait Economic Researcher Award by the Central Bank of Kuwait; May, 2019.
Prof. Ir. Theo van der Meer
He has 40 years of academic experience at the universities of Delft and Twente in the Netherlands. The last 17 years he was full professor in Thermal Engeneering at the University of Twente. During the last 10 years in Twente He also was the program director of the Master Program Sustainable Energy Technology. This is a multi-disciplinary master program on renewable energies including social sciences.
Dr SS Bhakar
Experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. Has guided one Business School to get NAAC 'A' accreditation, permanent affiliation, UGC recognition under sections 2f and 12b, recognition as research center of the affiliting University and many more as Director and have contributed in achieving similar success for another B- School as senior faculty. Well known trainer in the area of Operations Management, Supply Chain and Research. Have conducted more than 60 Research Methodology Workshops, 25 Case Writing Workshops, 35+ Executive training programs, have been Conference Chairman for 9 International conferences and 15 national conferences and seminars, have delivered keynote speech in national and international conferences and seminars.
Uttam Gaulee, Ph.D
Uttam Gaulee, Ph.D., is a scholar of international higher education. His research interests include the community college, diaspora studies, interdisciplinary perspectives on education policy, global citizenship, and cross-cultural issues in international development and geopolitics. An associate professor in the Community College Leadership Doctoral Program at Morgan State University, Dr. Gaulee is an advocate of community college as a vehicle for social progress and economic development in and beyond the U.S. He recently edited a volume on Global Adaptations of Community College Infrastructure. Dr. Gaulee serves as president of the Society of Transnational Academic Researchers(STAR), which advances global social mobility through innovative research and progressive advocacy efforts. Recently, STAR network is contributing to the quality enhancement initiatives at universities in the Global South.
Liem Gai Sin, Ph.D
Liem Gai Sin is also the founder and president of Association of International Business and Professional Management. He has been involved in many research projects, received several research grants, scholarship and educational awards. He has published many journal articles in IEEE, APBITM, JIBM and wrote a book chapter in The Handbook of Experiential Learning in International Business that is published by Palgrave Macmilan in 2014. He was also a columnist on Entrepreneurship magazine and was an external reviewer of AIB and APIBTM.
